Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need a sewing machine?
A: Yes! While this is an in the hoop design, you'll use your sewing machine to piece together the patchwork fabrics and finish the jar opener backing.

Q: Can I skip the fussy cutting?
A: Absolutely! Simply cut your fabrics to the specified sizes and create a fun patchwork panel — no need for special rulers.

Q: What machines are compatible?
A: These designs work on any embroidery machine that supports the included file formats.

Q: Can I sell finished jar openers?
A: Yes! You may create and sell up to 500 finished products at craft fairs, on Etsy, and at other retail outlets. These are perfect for small business makers and craft fair sellers.

Q: Which finished size should I choose?
A: It depends! The sizes are similar but are made to fit the rulers you may already have.

Q: Do I need to test first?
A: We recommend testing your design first with scrap fabrics to ensure proper fit and finish. This helps you perfect your patchwork layout before using your favorite prints.
